Our own manufactured traditional, non-hydraulic lime product range.

The Traditional Lime Co produces a range of products developed over the years to cater for the majority of our customers. We pride ourselves on our ability to reproduce lime products such as lime renders & lime putty to match specific requirements from mortar analysis and sample matching. • Lime Putty

  Class A non-hydraulic (fat) lime putty as used for thousands of years before the development of natural hydraulic lime (NHLs) and consequently modern cement.

• Lime Mortars

  Ready Mixed Lime Mortars with regional colour variations for Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire & Worcestershire

• Lime Plasters

  Internal & External Lime Putty Renders & Plasters, manufactured at our site. Suitable for Tudor timber frame or Lath & Plaster

• Natural Limewash

  Natural Limewash is a breathable finish, like Distemper, appropriate for stone, brick and traditional lime putty based renders.

• Laths & Woodwool Board

  Riven & Sawn Oak laths available in lengths of 3ft, 3ft 6ins and 4ft. Woodwool boards, washers & 4mm Mesh

• Pozzolans

  Addition of a pozzolan to a non-hydraulic lime mortar can increase durability & assist carbonation (setting) in damp environments

• Calbux 90

  Quicklime is used as the primary lime binder to be mixed with specially selected sand and aggregate to make hot mixed Lime Mortar, Lime Plaster and render for new-build and historic conservation works. It can also be used to make Lime Putty and Limewash.

• Aggregates

  Specially sourced & performance tested aggregates & minerals used in our Lime Putty mixes and for use in creating your own NHL mortars & renders
