Ecomortar from St Astier
Ready mix lime plaster/render for refurbishing various backgrounds
Highly suitable for repair or recoating of cement mortars, gypsum plasters and composite backgrounds where different materials are present (plasterboards, timber, concrete etc...)
Most refurbishment projects where lime plasters and renders have been repaired with gypsum plasters and sand/cement mortars cause a problem for specifiers. They want to keep the qualities of the existing lime finishes but also want a uniform finish throughout the property.
Ecomortar R from St Astier now enables one system to be used throughout.
Ecomortar Base. Premixed rendering base coat to bulid up to level. 10mm per coat. The absence of cement or additives makes EcoMortar highly suitable for conservation repair
Ecomortar R50 will adhere to gypsum, cement and plasterboard, whilst allowing the existing lime to retain its qualities.Stipple (primer) & top coat for Ecomortar Base
Ecomortar R100 will adhere to all of the above and painted backgrounds, including gloss paint, concrete, tiles, metals and waterproofed surfaces. Stipple (primer) & top coat for Ecomortar Base
This eco-friendly cement free product provides a breathable unifying coat ready for painting.
CO2 re-absorption (between 30 and 40% of the binder content)
