Pre-mixed hydraulic lime mortar
We are now able to offer a range of pre-mixed hydraulic lime mix suitable for re-pointing, rendering, plastering and bedding.
The new Cornerstone range of mortars are available in 25 kg bags to which you just add water.
These mortars comprise St Astier natural hydraulic lime mixed with suitable sands.
DRYMIX POINTING MIX - This is a 1:3 mix (made with NHL 3.5) and is ideal for re-pointing or for use as a weaker backing coat for plasters and renders.
DRYMIX BASE COAT RENDER - This is a 2:5 mix (made with NHL 3.5) being a slightly stronger mortar than the 1:3 mix above. It is suitable for use as a backing coat.
PROMIX TOP COAT - Suitable for use as an external finish coat render but is also suitable where a finer mortar is required for pointing or bedding. This is a 2:5 mix, made with NHL 2 and 2mm fine sand.
INSULATING RENDER - Designed for both internal and external use to reduce thermal losses in solid walls. Factory blended mortar made with a recycled ultra-lightweight hardened aggregate and NHL 2, with the addition of fibres and selected additives.
